Maximilian este unul dintre cei ce fac parte din noua generatie de hip hop-eri. Nu este chiar pe gustul meu, insa acum prin sunet si versuri atrage atentia. Colaboreaza cu alti hip hop-eri si probabil influentat de stilul lor ( vezi Guess Who) a adoptat acest stil mai comercial. First one is a Samba routine and it's a Jean Marc Genereux and he's wife France coreography. (Hok - from B-Boy to ballroom dancer :)) )
2nd - a Jazz routine - Wade Robson coreography (you've got to just love this one - it's a love story between a Bird (a Humminbird) - that's Hok- and a Flower - that's Jaimie.)

De cateva zile avem un nou membru pe HaiSaDansam. Andreea este o cunostinta mai veche. Posteaza sub pseudonimul "AmVirusi". Daca o rugati frumos, poate va spune si de ce.

Desprea ea pot sa va spun ca ii place dansul, avand foarte multe emisiuni de dans in portofoliu. Marea ei placere e krump-ul ( de abia astept sa vad Andreea Gurl Krumpin'). Ii place Lil C dar nu ii place Tight Eyes. Si, din cate imi amintesc eu, cea mai mare pasiune a ei e fizica.

Here you go... a Tabitha & Napoleon great coreography from So You Think You Can Dance Season 6.
The three dancers are: Legacy (the white guy ... - b-boy), Kevin (the one with the white shirt - b-boy) and Russell (the one with orange shirt - krump dancer; season 6 winner).

I really really love russell's little krump part ... to bad that he injured he's leg when he did that jump... yet, as you can see, he finished the routine :)

Great Hip-Hop coreography

This Tabitha and Napoleon coreography is one of the best hip-hop routines from So You Think You Can Dance, Season 7.
The two performers are Twitch (2nd place in SYTYCD season 4; dancer in Step UP 3D) and Alex Wong (ballet dancer).

Unfortunately, Alex couldn't carry on with the show cuz of an injury. So, he couldn't perform this again.

But GUESS WHAT ?!?!
Ellen DeGeneres recreated Alex's hip-hop dance and performed with Twitch on the final episode of the season and I really think she did a great job (considering she's a 52 years old lady).

Dupa o absenta de sapte ani, Dana Nalbaru a decis ca e vremea unei impacari istorice. Se pare ca uitate au fost certurile si neintelegerile. Dana canta iar cu Hi-Q. In noua (sau mai vechea) formula, Hi-Q are deja o piesa inregistrata, care se numeste “Inca o data”, a lucrat si la altele si se pregateste sa filmeze un videoclip. Dana, Florin si Mihai planuiau inca de acum un an si jumatate reunirea trupei. Au decis sa pastreze totul secret, vestea fiind anuntata luni.
In urma cu sapte luni, Dana ne povestea in exclusivitate ca Nu spune"niciodata nu". Desi la inceput parea ca exclude orice colaborare cu Mihai si Florin (pe care spunea ca nu l-a vazut de 6 ani!), Dana a ajuns la concluzia ca, daca ar primi totusi o propunere concreta (si buna), ar mai canta cu trupa.

How it all started

      In 2006 i made a huge decision. To get envolved. One year later i became one of the coordonators of the freshmans prom. It was quite a fight for the two places opened, but i managed to get one of them, against the odds. It was a beautifull project. It turned out to be the coolest prom in the town.
     Theme: pimp prom. Quite a nice coreo. The boys were pimps and the girls were undercover police officers, arresting everthing in theyr way.
     To keep the "danger" in the show, main guests were the kapoeira group named K-noi, as you can see from the 2007 poster in the picture, a group that impressed all the audience.
     So, how it all started? Well, with a song that goes like this:

Who are they? The best damn crew i ever seen!

Why? Because they do it all: dancing, having fun, they tell a story, they have great hairstyles and they do other things also.

How did i find out about them? Americas Best Dance Crew. They won a seson.

The mistake from this video is that, in fact, the song is a clown dance song. I know, the beats and the rythm are the same, maybe even the dancers, but clown dance is friendlyer. Krump is kind of an agressive dance, with power moves that realise your anger. Clown dance is a happy dance, meant to make you feel good and not angry!

Eu unul va indemn sa cititi printre randuri, pentru ca este vorba de un altfel de primavara, o primavara plina de salcami, cer albastru, dorinte, cantece si dans. Primavara plina de miresme tari.

Do you remember Panjabi MC? Mundian To Bach Ke was his world wide hit. Such a hit that many singers made covers after it. I still have no ideea what the lyrics are saying, but that doesn't stop me to dance and to party when i hear this song. For me it's indian hip hop and good music.

Now let's go to brasilian hip hop. Here is a song i found on youtube. It seems pretty good. Nice beat. What seems like a very good party song. Listen once. Listen twice. After that search some infos about the lyrics and you will find that the ideea behind the song is not so nice. The song is about the "greatness" of the drog cartel from Brasil. Main message is that they are so strong that not even the police and the army can't defeat them. They will "live" forever and not even the guns they describe in the song can't stop them. "Parapapa...." it's actually a raffle of a machine gun and ka ki bum it's a grenade explosion. They also use pistols. The brasil feeling about this song is bad.
Quite unexpected for a gringo. Here is what i'm talking about.
